Reading the landscape

The procession of 30 students of the Advanced Permaculture Principles course at Melliodora are seen here snaking through the pathway at Spring Creek, Hepburn. We have been learning about using all our senses to read the landscape and and be open to learning more about the many layers that create our environment. Each of us discovered so many new areas to explore it will surely be an experience to open new avenues of enquiry for us for many years to come. It was also a reminder to use all our senses every day and to listen to and experience the often hidden immensity of time which is such a shaping force to our world, so we can make informed decisions about our actions and perhaps decide not to act if we are unsure of the consequences.
