Bringing outdoor furniture back from the dead
Outdoor furniture cops a lot of wear and tear, from it's rough use to the weather. Plastic furniture tends to look ugly and break unexpectedly within a few years, which can become quite dangerous. We found these 50 year plus old chairs at the local Scout car boot sale for $1 each and I saw their potential. With some cleaning, a coat of paint and some new feet they are as good as new. The table was recovered from hard rubbish in three parts, the base, frame for the top and decking off-cuts. Joined together it was cleaned up, the base painted and timber oiled. Makes a great match for the 'new' chairs. - Richard Telford See the full blog post at www.abdallahhouse.com
