Bubble wrap double glazing
I've only bubbleglazed one half of my study window, but it made a huge difference to the perceived temperature of the window (touching the glazed side vs the non-glazed side) and on average the room retained about 2 degrees more temperature overnight than when there was no bubbleglazing. It also means I can have the curtains open and let in light without losing a lot of heat from the thin glass. Gabrielle Prior
