Obtain a banana
Here Milkwood Permaculture students returning after a site visit to our urban Food Forest in Inner West Sydney. At a time when bananas were extremely expensive I was able to give students a banana plant to take home and we were struggling to eat all of our bananas, with 160 an average yield for each bunch. 'Fair Share' or 'Redistribute Surplus', a Permaculture ethic, remind us that sharing also gives us a yield and connects us more with people in our lives.
